'Gomez was outstanding'

Former Liverpool defender Stephen Warnock believes the performance of Joe Gomez was key in 'nullifying' Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka in Saturday's 1-1 draw. Gomez replaced Kostas Tsimikas in an unfamiliar left-back role after the Greece international suffered a collarbone injury in the first-half. "He [Gomez] did really well," Warnock told BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast.
