'The feeling is that Palace's season starts now'

During the transfer window, there had been a chance that the good feeling around Crystal Palace that had built since Oliver Glasner had been in charge could be taken away. The Eagles sold Michael Olise and Joachim Andersen and it looked as though they were going to lose Marc Guehi to Newcastle in one of the longest transfer sagas of the summer. Three of those could be starting centre-backs, one is a new striker who is a goal threat and they have kept both Guehi and Eberechi Eze.
