Miovski 'has been ready all the time' amid speculation

Aberdeen manager Jimmy Thelin praised the attitude of star striker Bojan Miovski, after the North Macedonia international helped the Dons start their Premiership campaign with victory against St Johnstone. Miovski looked sharp in the 2-1 win at McDiarmid Park despite only playing 45 minutes during the entirety of the League Cup group stages as rumours circled surrounding his future. Thelin restored Miovski to the starting line-up for the first game of the league season, and says he had no doubts about doing so.
