Kieran Trippier calls time on England career before Carsley names first squad

Kieran Trippier has announced his retirement from international football less than two hours before Lee Carsley is due to name his first England squad.

The 33-year-old defender won 54 caps and played out of position at left-back to help England reach the final of Euro 2024.
