In a matter of a few days or arguably as a result of 90 minutes in Lublin, Poland, the mood surrounding Rangers appears to have brightened considerably. A markedly improved performance against Dynamo Kyiv compared to the one against Hearts on the opening day of the league season has given them a solid platform from which to improve further and go on to secure their place in the final Champions League qualifying round. Before that can be achieved there is the intriguing prospect of their first ‘home’ league game at Hampden Park against Motherwell.
