'Hearts can't dwell on Rangers defeat before Edinburgh derby'

Last Saturday’s 5-0 defeat to Rangers can be summed up using a well-known football cliche: 'it’s the hope that kills you'. Rangers supporters in buoyant mood, with Phillip Clement’s men playing well and many of our Hearts players having an off day - it was the perfect recipe for a disaster. Then you sprinkle in the added motivational factor that Rangers were playing to stay top of the league and it was never going to be our day.
