Takeover movement over next couple of weeks?

Everton majority owner Farhad Moshiri agreed to sell his 94% stake in the club to 777 Partners in September and we are now into week 12 of that process, the timeline given for completion. BBC Sport understands there is unlikely to be any confirmation of the sale this week, but the deal remains on track to be done before Christmas. The final decision of the takeover lies with the Premier League and 777 co-owner Josh Wander and Steven Pasko are currently undergoing the Owners and Directors' Test.
